... 5 Kms, we decided to hitchhike and after 10 minutes, a lovely Spanish man has stopped and has driven us to the church. For the way back, we were lucky to get offered a lift from an English man and his Australian friend. They took us back to where we left the rib which saved us a good 2 hours walk in the heat. We are very pleased to be here as we have been waiting to come here for quite a while ...

As for everything else, the time of NIE renewal and classes finishing is approaching. Last week I made the effort to learn all the names of the kids in ONE of my 25 classes. Ha! Go me. I also went to local teams futbol game and some of my students drama play. I kind of feel a part of the community even if I feel like an intruder most of the time. Poco a poco I will continue to find my place here and be a part of it ...
