... is made and distributed in Switzerland - not sure if I like knowing that Cheese lasts for a year or not, but it was still quite awesome bc we ate lunch here and everything was full of awesome cheese!

It has been a great start so far - our program has 33 students from all over and it has been fun getting to know everyone and seeing how University life differs in Europe from the U.S!

Miss you all! Auf Wiedersehen (Goodbye)

... folks of native descent and folks of foreign descent on an equal to equal level... One thing I do find in Bludenz that really makes my day is a cybercafe. No "immigrant ghettos" here in Nuziders...

Day 281 2 hrs, 10 kms
I continue down a peaceful country path up the valley, past lush grassy fields and little forest groves. One unique thing here are little wooden huts scattered throughout the fields. Not quite sure what they're for--my guess is they are for storing hay or something. Does give the fields a bit of character. Also along the way are little shrine-chapels with ...

... calls? This could really tarnish the trustworthy image I have of this region. A lot goes through my head. I'm suddenly jolted awake to the reality that, yes, I am still connected to the "real" world and not just an timeless nomad. I've got to figure out what's going on and really don't know how to go about doing so. Maybe I'll have to catch a bus back to Liechtenstein to try to sort this out. I decide to try something else first: call my bank, which is in itself a challenge, ...
