We failed "Snowman Building 101" !!!
... defeated. Warm while 'working' in the sunshine. Interesting to note that Gregor also tells us he is happiest when there is no snow.
Set off for a walk through the village which is built right and left of one main road. Took plenty of photos to share memories with Mum. Paused at the village's reasonably new shrine of remembrance and see my uncle's name as one lost during WW2 on 30/09/44 at age of just 22.

Arrived at Cousin Kathe's place in Wildon about 4pm. Wildon and surrounds enormously different to what we remembered form our 1998 visit - so much more built up, many new buildings, shops and industrial complexes that have filled the fields and valleys of my memories. Därefter begav vi oss vidare mot Ungern! Vi gick runt lite och tittade i Szombathely, som sag ut ungefär som vi hade väntat oss att en Ungersk stad skulle se ut. Väldigt mysigt var det. Helgbesök hos Stefans familj
... innebär att en vinproducerande familj serverar mat tillsammans med sina egna viner. Familjerna i distriktet turas om med att ha öppet olika kvällar. Mycket trivsamt med god mat och mycket vin! Pa lördagen lagade Agnes hur mycket mat som helst för att bjuda oss och Stefans syskon med familjer. Hon lagade fyra olika rätter plus dessert, alltihop traditionellt Österrikiskt. Riktigt gott! ...
Alpine driving...that ish cray
... so close they do not use the same language close to the boarder and that the slovenians are pretty rude and not friendly. They are also under developed. After a wonderful dinner we drove back to the hotel. Dad is having a cigar. It is tanning but that won't stop him. We are hoping it will stop so we can sit on the patio and had a drink later. Tomorrow we will be heading to Vienna. We are very VERY excited to see Fritzi. Until next time ...
