    Wow! We actually got up today despite getting into assemble at 3 AM. Due to our last flight being delayed a biit we got in a little later than expected even after our flight changes, imagine that.     After spending such a wonderful weekend with Cengiz, we flew back to Istanbul on Monday morning. We arrived at our hotel, and realized that we were right in the centre of everything - much closer than our hotel two weeks ago. This area was vibrant and loud and full of restaurants and shops. It was perfect! The hotel was wonderful, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

    Today was the last day of the much enjoyed family holiday. Spent the morning packing and then down for breakfast before taking on one last Istanbul attraction in before flying out - the Underground Canals (Turkish water supply from the 19th Century).     As we ate our breakfast on the top deck we watched the ship sail into Istanbul. All of the tourist attractions were clearly visible on the hill on the port side. Topkapi palace, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and the old city. It was a spectacular entry into the ancient capital.
