... Day. It is a public holiday in Italy today, Remembrance Day, so lots will be closed. Had breakfast and took the advice of Vittorio the owner and headed to the town of Gubbio. He said it had an old town and interesting architecture. He also told of a man and his relationship with an evil wolf and it is legend in the town, saw statues of it everywhere. ... remain in our hearts as our favorite European city. We were awed by the northern city of Bolzano and so thankful we got to experience the Dolomites. We were enchanted by the magic of the lakes, especially Lake Como, with low-lying clouds, misty mornings, twinkling evening lights. ... emailing the owner Massimo as we went. Directions got lost in translation and Sue and her trusty IPad took us to Tenna. Massimo said he would meet us in the park and we waited and waited.
