      Today's weather was .......... not very good. Stair rods came to mind on more than one occasion. We had no firm plans at the start of the day and as the foul weather set in, our plans were submerged in deluge after deluge. Something indoors was clearly a solution, but we were bereft of sensible suggestions, as were the Guest Relations (!) ...

      ... clear if this was a reference to the several dogs or military hardware being released. We opted to retreat in face of the enemy and headed back to the car. The weather encouraged us as the skies turned a blue, milky wood colour (gerrit?) and rain looked imminent.
      The map suggested a further jolly into coastal resorts and off we headed, giddy at the prospect, of a happy time in Tenby. Westward we went, via single track lanes ...

      ... facsimiles, I suppose, and then watched a DVD presentation (thoroughly modern, eh?) before encountering the highlight of the place, a barn owl, tethered for human admiration in the cafeteria.
