My final observations
... into a curly, sun bleached mess that I have now given up on. At school the mums are a mix of the sporty sorts or the designer gear sorts, they glow and look sultry. I on the other hand just look sweaty and resemble the wild woman of Borneo, with my frizzy mess upon my head. I could never, ever wear a suit to work here. Saint Christophers is an oasis of air conditioning in the desert wasteland.The children are an eclectic mix and its like being at the United Nations. There are a plethora of British children, Aussies, African, Indian, American and Bahraini. They put places like Sydney that pretends it is multi cultural, to shame. Its a really beautiful place. The Life of a Teacher
... winter break (I'll be home from December 17th - January 2nd), then I have a week off for spring break in March.
I have already been invited by a friend from school (Leila - the teacher from MD) to come with her to Jordan. She has a home in Amman, the capital, and her parents have a house in Jordan on the Red Sea. I'm thinking this will be my Ashoora trip :)

Bahrain Day #3 -- Touring the Island
... deck was dimly lit and a strange place – with American pop music playing over the intercom in a barren sphere. The view over the border controls was quite fascinating, however, and I could see the rest of the causeway lit up to Saudi Arabia as well as the lights of Saudi coastal cities across the water.
