... beach " area I noticed they had a long jetty on which lounges or chairs were. We left Cannes and headed up the mountains passed a couple of Riveria towns to St Paul de Vence . It is the oldest medieval walled town in France with narrow cobbled streets. We had a guide who walked us to the town and kept telling us which road to take when catching the bus back. It is with a touch of sadness that we farewell Mallorca tomorrow. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here. ... is a very unusual structure suspended above the altar. I was not surprised to find out it was created by Gaudi. Our next stop was the Royal Palace next to the Cathedral. ... beautiful stained glass windows. It is set in the centre of the town with many shops in the nearby narrow alleys and plazas which we explored by foot.

We had lunch at restaurant popular with the Majorcan people that featured authentic local food which was wholesome and delicious. Irene, who speaks many languages including Spanish explained the menu and helped us order.

After lunch we visited a historical Manor House called Els Calderers De Sant Joan.
