Summer Toboggan
Sadly our last day in Slovenia so we decided on a bit of 'adrenalin' for our last morning. After packing up we headed to the slopes and because it was a Saturday, the ski lifts were open! So a peaceful journey to the top watching some BMX dudes tearing up the bike track before making our way to the summer toboggan run.

Once finished we transferred back to Bovec and then began our drive towards Kranjska Gora. Whilst in the Soca Valley we stopped at a few bridges to observe some different sections of the beautiful river. We then chilled out for a bit on top of the world at Vrsic before making it back to our room. Both pretty shattered we decided on another picnic dinner (also because we probably couldnt stomach another pizza!) and a relaxed evening.

... and an avalanche caused over a hundred of them to lose their lives. The chapel is a memorial to them.
We then headed back down and with tummies rumbling, walked through town and ended up with a takeaway pizza!! (There really isnt a lot of other choice when eating out here it seems!) But we were able to take it back and munch it sat on our balcony, all wrapped up with a very satisfying view and sunset.

Superbe journée pour nous, 24 degrés, plein soleil, on a sorti les shorts et la camisole des boules à mites. Aujourd'hui, on va se la couler plus douce si on veut, au lieu de faire du vélo dans les Alpes, on est allés marcher dans Villach pendant cinq heures. Du vélo dans les Alpes
Salut tout le monde!
Ce matin, on a décidé d'aller faire du vélo dans les Alpes. On pouvait avoir les deux vélos gratuits à l'hôtel et c'étaient de très très bons vélos. Nous sommes partis en direction de Faaker am See et nous avons roulé pendant 4 heures consécutives.
On a vu des choses magnifiques. On s'est même rendu dans le bois où le chemin n'était plus très large et où il n'y avait plus beaucoup de ...
