... really shady right? Well , it is exactly how it panned out except we made a friend from England as we waited and he quietly sat with us while I fed stray dogs and my mate watched our bags.
My favorite piece of this trip thus far is being on my own and this is because it forces you to step outside of yourself and make friends that are in the same boat as you. There is a communal trust and a communal bond that ...
... osim sto sam usavrsio bugarski jezik. Posla nema, samim tim nema ni para. Ok, onda sam odlucio da iskoristim slobodno vreme... Izlasci, upoznavanje... nesto sto nikada ne moze da dosadi. Plaza, more, Sunce i zabava. Odlican nacin da se iskoristi slobodno vreme.
Napokon da se zavrsilo ovo leto. Postalo je malo monotono...
Do sledeceg putovanja...
Dovijdene na v sichki.
... Palace. Nessebar as well as being picturesque is Souvenir Central with a variety of shops and cafes lining the pretty streets. It is located on a small rocky isthmus in the Black Sea , is a UNESCO World Heritage site and dates back to 3000 BC. We love it here and spent the afternoon wandering about enjoying the town. Later we had dinner on our balcony, accompanied by Bulgarian Beer and Bulgarian Wine, and then went for a walk along the waterside in the cool of the evening.
Nessebar, Burgas, Bulgaria souter... lifts have to work hard and are a bit creaky. The room however has a fully functioning bathroom and aircon. I shower and switch it on. Its 30 degree's cooling in the room than out and I sleep for a couple of hours. The room is on the seventh floor and is one of the tallest buildings in the town. So I can see my route into town and the weather from the room. The room doesn't have wallpaper; its a sort of painted woodchip concrete. The doors to the ...
Burgas, Bulgaria i_could_walkWhile staying on Bulgaria's surprisingly stunning Black Sea coast, I took a trip to the nearby local jewel of Nessebar. Nessebar is a pictureque and small town with thousands of years of history under its belt. It has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site and is more traditionally Bulgarian than the neighbouring beach resorts although some of its charm is lost by the huge number of tourists and souvenir ...
Nessebar, Burgas, Bulgaria gfleming... through the plastic holder) on the way home and then needed a few games of ********* before I could go to sleep. Sleep in (again) and then out to nesbar. We had ummed and arred about going to Sozopol or nesbar and I think after a l hour bus ride (18 euro return) 2 hours of walking the many many many stalls and markets selling the same stuff and dodging restaurant after restaurant we decided that we had made the right decision. It didn't even feel ...
Sozopol, Bulgaria leahandgregBurgas was hosting the first ever MTV Spirit of Burgas festival with Groove Armada, Koseen, Ministry of Sound etc. It was situated on the beach, had an electric atmosphere, great music and was bouncing! All for £20 as well. If you happen to see the festival on MTV you will probably see me & G. Aside from the festival there is nothing happening in Burgas.
Burgas, Burgas, Bulgaria stevewadeSunny Beach is a holiday resort on the coast of Bulgaria. It's basically sunbathe all day and booze all night. Lots of British, Sweedish, Norwegian, Dutch and German tourists. Not the nicest place in the world but good for a chill out and a few nights on the lash.
Sunny Beach, Bulgaria stevewade... The irony was, that eventually, a couple of sweaty and bumpy hours later, I popped out of the forest onto the red road. It was big, fast and devoid of any traffic. My overnight stop on the border in Malko Tarnovo turned out to be a brand new hobby hotel built by the local architect. I had a dip in the pool, watch a bit of telly on the plasma tv in my room, sat in the garden with a beer while the sun set. Bliss. And all for £30.
Burgas, Burgas, Bulgaria springy100Velki Preslav to Burgas Distance 162km Best bit: sun Worst bit: having to throw myself into the gutter 5 times today to avoid oncoming traffic!! Well, the Black Sea isnt black. Its kind of a rich blue with gentle waves. The sand feels good under my feet :)
