    ... inlets and bays, it seems longer when driving around it. Up, down, spinnin' around... :-) There are gorgeous bays around every bend with crystal clear water and, as there are so many bays, it's easy to find one out of the wind. We hired a scooter for two days and Andrew dinked me around the island. We stopped wherever we wanted and swam, ate or just lazed to our hearts content.

    We had the afternoon to explore Patmos, a smallish Island with some nice shops and tavernas. Our tummies had settled enough to attempt some Greek food however beer was not appealing at all! John the Apostle is thought to have been on Patmos when he received a vision from Jesus, and hence the island is on the Christian Pilgrimage route.
