... for us. A quick shower by Denise, and then by me.... and we met at the table ready to drink. The sun was just slipping behind the mountain, as we giggled our way yet another round. The wind then make its howling appearance in the harbor. A lot of the boats that were anchored around us left, and as the almonds began flying out of the nut bowl -- we decided that dinner should be below deck. Sitting in the "new mahogany paneled walls" on either side, really ...

... of varying riser heights. Once we arrived at the monastery I found it so fascinating... and meticulously maintained. For almost 2 hours we scrambled around nooks, crannies, hallways and staircases.... all of us snapping photos of all we encountered. A very interesting and fun sight. Mike was to take us back down to the harbor at 12:30, so we had time to spare. Denise and I took this opportunity to "shop", dodging in and out of air-conditioned ...

Although I tried to record it here, the intensity and immensity can not come through on paper. After our omelette breakfasts.... Our first stop of the day was to be at the small little turquoise waters bay of Arki, which we could not enter yesterday because there was too much wind, and it was from the wrong direction. Denise, Dennus, and I got into ...

... be blown to sea. Oh, woe is me. I am cold, it is damp..... yes,I could adjust myself to pull the duvet from under me, to on top of me, so it could be half under and half on top....making me be the center of a sandwich. I am totally wrapped up like a mummy, being nestled by a very wet duvet.... oh my.... My body will make this warm in no time. I felt so cramped in the propped sideways wedge.... I could not stretch out... in this blinding light ..... Opps... the ...

Awoke this morning to see the coast of Turkey appearing through the cabin Window. We docked at Kusadasi, Turkey at 7:00am and disembarked and were bused to the top of Ephesus, an ancient Roman city where Mark Anthony and Cleopatra once visited. History don't you love it.

Only about 10% of this city has been uncovered but it truly is a wonder of the world ...
