Okolwrastno Shose 1 Sandanski, Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, 2800
... late and missed the gondola ride that would take me up to the mountain, so I was stuck in a city where half of it was empty (its major industry is skiing in the winter), having nothing to do. I walked the streets, used the hotel’s wifi to go to internets and relaxed. I ate a simple dinner and tried their "draft wine", I guess it means homemade wine without filtering, and it was cheap and nice.
Bansko, Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria chan_hc... caretaker. After passing clear of sheep, we headed down to a lake near our house. Further down on lake we came to a small dam. Sashe took me on the dam, but because it has to do with Military reasons I was not allowed to take pictures. Back in the car we headed to a little village of Chiflik to visit Marija's friend Lile. Lile came home to her parent's house, so Marija wanted to visit with her while we were here. There I met Lile's mother Mare and her uncle stopped by ...

We stopped to look at the lake and eat breakfast at Gradche Dam. We had Piroshka for breakfast, at first it looked like an eggroll but much better tasting. After breakfast we headed to Berovo. We had to stop in the town to get the key of our house from the owner. We came to a dirt drive way but we couldn ...

Bansko, Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria keplam... not have been more perfect. The sun was shining all day but a nice cool breeze made the climb very pleasant. We hiked up to a ridge where we had lunch before heading back down. There was a lake where Layton and Huff decided to take a dip in really cold water! Such a fun, fun day. For lack of a better name for the restaurant we ate at, we will call it Nicki's. Nicki was the Bulgarian owner and his wife made great food for us not one but two nights in a row. We liked ...
Bansko, Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria laytonandjana... It has been truly an amazing experience. We have so far gone into two bordering villages and run VBS type programs during the day and then a main service at night. Connections have been made and the people in the villages have really just loved us. Well, the next update will be a video update, until I get it done I will say good bye for now.
Petrich, Bulgaria adamhoskins... and fro the areas that we will be going after the conference and running programs. writing dramas for the conference, creating power points, creating videos, and getting to know each other through the game Apples to Apples. Excitement is building for the conference and for the things God is going to do through it! Pray for success in all that we do!
Petrich, Bulgaria adamhoskins... and leaders were in attendance and the teaching was fantastic. It was a great kickoff and anticipation is that it will grow. An Interesting Fact: In many of the outlying villages you will find huge nests. These nests do not belong to an Eagle, but to Storks! The local people believe that these Storks bring a blessing of good times and believe that it is ...
Petrich, Bulgaria adamhoskins... loaf of bread costs 1.05 lev or 83 cents. It is very interesting to see the way that different people live. One of the coolest things so far happens when it rains. Where in the U.S we have sewer systems to take the water off the streets, not so much here. The Best Thing so Far: The number of people who WALK! A huge foreign concept to those of us who live in the U.S. but here people actually walk just about everywhere. We for ...
