    ... but didn’t quite make it to the ultimate ‘peak’ due to heat/exhaustion (mostly me but Ginette was even tired!). We saw some amazing wildlife including a bright pink dragonfly (see picture), a brilliant blue butterfly, lizards and a lonely bat in the rest station under the roof. We trundled back down and dinghied back to the boat exhausted but exhilarated by our experience.

    The next day we made our way to Kueh harbor to finish up our provisioning ...

    ... of my feet from the hard deck. This, combined with my arthritic knees and it isn’t easy to get around. I think there’s a slight improvement now that I am forcing myself to wear my Crocs at all times, but I’m really hoping this pain will subside. The Thai foot massages are helping too!

    ... without interrupting them. It is so important to be silent and really listen to what others are trying to communicate. Beside it is amazing what you can learn from just listening and not interjecting too much of your own ideas.

    Well thats enough for now. I have uploaded some photos of some of the most memorable moments of our trip.

    Life is good (LG)!! Enjoy life while you can!!! I hope that I didn't bore you with all my thoughts.

    Still a little tired but well rested (the beds are awesome) we went down to breakfast; very quiet with small variety. We set out to go to the Mardi Agro Park a short distance from the hotel.... Although we accidentally ended up on the other side of the island (some 30km away). It ended up being near the cable cars where we were going tomorrow, so we did that instead. All of our hearts melted when we saw groups of monkeys ...

Turns out he was from Middlesborough and he tends to live on Langkawi for 6-8 months of the year, then go back to Middlesborough to "cut the grass" he says.
