Travelling through norway keeps on amaze you from beginning to the end. Saw moose walking around in the wild. Every mountaintop you reach unveils a new and amazing view of this country.. A lake fotographed at the beginning shows new beauty at the other end.

We have discovered why Anthony Gormley did his "The Sea Man" sculpture at Mo I Rana. Part of a 35 work commission by invited artists to make up Experience Artscape Nordland, all north of Mo I Rana and several we saw on the Lofotens. So now we know! Crossed from the most northern island of the Lofotens to mainland Norway again. Drove all morning with beautiful scenery, more tunnels, mountains and fjords, to reach Narvik. ... worse, 8meter swells! That almost two decks, with the spray crashing again the shop windows on deck 5! I wasn't sea sick but had a bad head ache due to all the movement. As for the passengers they didn't fair so well, a few fell over and lots of sickness... So a whole night of standing in an empty shop. The next day (24th) was a double port day. Sailed into the fjords and stopped for an hour to drop an excursion group off early morning, then ...

... t, it's just that we saw over 20 birds. They were mainly soaring high above but you could clearly see their outline and shape. Then 2 of them started tangling in the air. Don't know if they were playing, courting or fighting but it was amazing to watch them spin around together.

Eventually we met up with the ship again at a different port just in time for lunch. This time I actually felt hungry because of all the walking and cold, fresh air.
