... cold shower back in the room! Nathan didn't feel too good when we got back so after a nice cold he had a lie down and got some salt and sugar back into him before we sat on the balcony and looked back at how amazing the day had been! That night we walked back to the market to have food in the same place as yesterday. It was lovely again but we were both like zombies eating as we were so dead from our tough day! ... on the back of a scooter. But the elephants were cool, especially the baby who trumpeted when he ran into the water. ... just chatting, I just feel so privileged to be on this level to experience them. Everyone here seems to play guitars or drums and they all have fantastic singing voices, I really enjoy the local Batak music which is sung wholly from the heart. I even spent one afternoon with a few of the boys on a mat in front of my GH sitting playing music and singing which was great fun.

... had managed 3 breakfasts I my absence - a new record. After I had some breakkie we went to the hot spring which turned out to be a small hole over some rocks in the river.
