    ... courtyard was packed like sardines with visitors trying to grope the breast of the bronze statue of Juliet, which is supposed to bring good luck. The crowd kept growing by the minute, so we didn't hang around long.

    Nothing was planned for the morning so we decided to take a walk around the local neighbourhood. We checked out the daily markets and also wandered around a small supermarket checking out the different products available.

    We spent the morning visiting some of the city sights, starting with a drive up to Villa della Regina (former residence of the Queen) on the hills over-looking the city. After a wander through the grounds we headed into Turin itself for a walk around the city centre, taking in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Piazza Castello, Palazzo Reale & Piazza San Carlo.
