It was great to stretch our legs and not have to worry about Cuttyhunk on anchor. We walked into the city and wandered around the old part. Enjoying the narrow curved streets, churches and other old stone built things. Being Sunday there were very few people about and most of the commercial shops were closed, so retail therapy wasn't an option, much to Chris's relief.

We left Tripani, Sicily early on the morning of 27 July and after a couple of hours motoring in calm conditions the wind filled in from the south and we were off to Sardinia. Twentyfive hours of sailing later we arrived onto the south east coast of Sardinia and anchored in a large bay off a beautiful sandy beach.
