... needless to say we had a food baby to walk off on the way back to the hotel. We grabbed some pre-drinks and headed back. Down to Oude Haven, but as the drizzle had thickened, no-one out under the market umbrellas.

Ducked back to the Binnenrotte and Laurenskerk, a late gothic church that is the only remaining building of the medieval city. The damage from WW II repaired, it is now an ancient oasis in a contemporary plain. Shut today.

... Steakhouse across the road from our hotel, it specialises in grilled meats and shawarmas - similar to Turkish/Greek food. Yum! I think we'll go there again when we stay at the same hotel at the end of the bike tour. It's 9.00 pm and only just getting dark, but it's lovely having the extra time to do things outside.
