... and it has worked out absolutely fine and only excellent experiences!

Anders got his wish through and we rented a moped for a day, to be able to experience other parts of the island. In about 20 minutes we were already in the other main city of the island, Kuah. Anders also got to see the hotel were his family stayed when visiting some 15-20 years ago.

Now we have to run to pick up our laundry, which set us back 7 Ringgit (1,7€) - so excited to see how that worked ...

Das erste Mal haben wir den Bus mit ein wenig rennen auch bekommen, doch an der malaysischen Grenze waren wir dann leider ein wenig zu langsam und schwups waren wir gestrandet am Busbahnhof. ... walk form the first to last cave took a little over 2 and a half hours...the walk back about an hour and a half. ... some eagle's eerie. The moss under foot was sometimes supported by roots rather than soil so that it felt like you were walking over a trampoline. The forest was so think that there was little in the way of animal life to be seen.
