    ... by Venizelos. It was very interesting. All sorts of Cretan products on display.

    We then walked to the Church of the Virgin Mary. This is the main church of Chania. It is quite small in side but very pretty. After our visit to the church, Dennis and I walked back to the ship. We have walked at least 2 miles every day and sometimes as many as four.

On this trip, we first stopped at Agia Sophia Cave, which means The Cave of the Wisdom of God.  To get inside, you had to walk up many steps.  Once inside, there is also an alter where there are artifacts that were found in the cave and are believed to be from the Neolithic period.
