    ... Colonel and I could not eat it all and only nibbled at the successive courses.The restaurant was beautifully presented but I must say I was underwhelmed by the truffles.     Today we followed the highway of the Sun North through Naples a fairly run down city that has 15% unemployment it is sitting in the shadow of Mt Vesuvius, this morning we saw it without cloud,it is possible to take a tour to the top. we passed the mountain top Abby of Monte Cassino a vey important site during the last war where many allied troops lost their lives. We visited the War Cementry containing over 4000 servicemen buried but over 40,000 died to secure the Mountain.

    Today we had an early start to the day to cram as much sightseeing in as possible. I found my croissant filled with custard this morning. Amazing!
