Sonnenbergstrasse Arosa, Grisons, Swiss Alps, Switzerland, 7050

We were planning to go to Liechtenstein but thought we may as well as it was sort of on our way. It's the worlds 6 smallest country so it would have been rude not to go..haha.
We didn't drive to the main town but to another.. where really there wasn't anything. I did get a photo with the tourist sign though. Had to somehow prove I'd been there!
... we had caught up on news, we both set off in different directions, we were heading for Italy, and the Stelvio Pass.
Although we stll had the little job of Swiss postcards. We saw a little shop as we turned a corner, and popped in there. We had the rest of the Swiss francs, but we were 20 cents short, the lady in the shop was really kind, and let us off!! How nice the Swiss are!
... Feldkirch I got lost. Actually I was just trying to get to McDonald's because the group wanted a bathroom break and the public toilets here were not to our standards. Anyway, I drove past the McDonald's twice - once my fault and once the navigator's - and drove down a pedestrian only section of road before we gave up and continued on our journey out of town and deeper into Austria.
Feldkirch, Austrian Alps, Austria travelingdiva... that our special bike path had long tunnels cut in the mountain uniquely for bikes. We did however have a scare when a guy we asked directions from told me in broken french that we would be unable to go along the lake because the tunnel was for the freeway only. He explained that we would have to go over the mountain. Not exactly what we wanted to hear. I'm sure glad we ...
Walenstadt, St. Gallen, Switzerland randyandchrissy... building, and the government building. This area looks very modern but blends well into the surrounding mountains and old houses and buildings.
It was a sunny day but a bit chilly. I decided the best way to warm up was to hike up to the castle. I started walking up a steep hill that I thought would lead me to the castle. It passed through a beautiful residential area and eventually ended at a trail head. Perfect! From there I ...
... three other seats at my table and there were 6 of them, and it was very apparent that someone had already chosen the table, but they started moving in. I chose to turn my English heritage genes on and I just sat down and smiled at them all. "we join you OK"? "Of course, I'd love the company". The three women sat down, and the men just stood around behind me. Hovering.... The Swiss guy next to me and I just laughed about it and ignored them in ...
Untertertzen, Switzerland zzmatt... surprise around every corner you turn. I found a small (really out of the way) cemetery, apparently Jewish. I went back to get Bev so she could see it, too. I got some great shots. (Shirley should be happy.)
The time to head back to Davos came all too soon. Once again, we traveled the back roads, this time by bus, and the scenery was just as awesome as it was on our train trip coming up this morning. We traveled up to the 6,000 ft. level, up and down and all around the ...

Zurich to Davos
We arrived in Davos (the Hotel Europe, a 4 star hotel) at 12:37 pm. Davos is much bigger than I had expected. It looks like it would be easy to get lost, but the view is spectacular.
We had a get together dinner at 6 p.m. On our way down to dinner, we heard someone knocking on their door from the inside. Sure enough, it was Shirley. Seems that their door lock was stuck and they couldn't get out. We had to get the hotel ...
