... one it had plenty of space- complete with double bedroom and bathroom, lounge/sitting area with dining table and chairs and an area at the back for the two man crew and kitchen to knock up some pretty decent meals for us. We both had a go at driving the boat for a short while (nothing to it and Hannah certainly got the seal of approval from our captain...) and we did find some lovely quiet areas to peruse the surrounding countryside and snap a few decent photos before mooring up ...

... a coffee shop and had the most amazing mango cheesecake...with a pretty good coffee! obviously not Costa but not had a proper one for nearly 3 weeks!! Maybe not very Indian, but that's ok. Last full day tomorrow in Goa and cannot believe that 2weeks has gone so quickly. However, time to get excited about the next stage of the adventure...Off to Delhi on ...

... yet, $16 was the fee. Not too bad for a semi nice place. The beach which wasn't too far away, is actually fairly mediocre. Long and boring with messy surf, littered with fishing boats and restaurant shacks as far as the eye could see. With what was our last beach day on this whole trip we enjoyed the last bit of swimming and sun bathing, watching the odd cow coming strolling down the beach for its daily ...

Manage to get to the other side, drive and have look at Aquada Fort, Coco beach ( locals ), Sinquerim beach, ( Water sports and Russians ), Cadolim beach ( Russian ), Baga beach( Blackpool and Russians ), Arjuna beach, backpackers very nice. The Russians have taken over much of Goa ( there were quite a few in Palolem). Apparently the visa cost for Russia is £30 and UK £92. There is something like 160 charter flights from Russia a month compared to ...

... as the trains went through. it gives you an idea as to the enormity of India, that it's more economical to stick your lorry on a train rather than drive it.

As the hours wore on more and people got on board their trains, always with an excellent bunfight to get on. They all seemed to settle down quite quickly though and you could see people shaking hands with fellow passengers and having a chinwag. Probably ...
