... Castle and decided to go explore it! It definitely reminded me of traipsing through Europe as a kid visiting castle after castle. I only wish I could have appreciated it then as I do now. We found this rather Lord of the Rings looking tree behind the castle and the kids had a blast climbing its roots.

... We saw the bridge over the Rhine and were they used to throw "witches" off the bridge during the European witch hunts a few hundred years ago. She showed us the monastary and said we were lucky that we got to see it without scaffolding because they're usually doint some type of refrubishment. We went into a shop to get postcards and found the greatest candy ever in Europe, Malteasers! Think whopper, but gourmet and delicious! I can't eat whoppers because of these little gems ...

The afternoon was spent idling away and just strolling around the beautiful lake. The weather was on our side, with the sun out in its full glory. We can't wait for the lake to freeze over in winter and visit it again.
