Michael and I wandered the quiet streets of La Fortuna on Tuesday, anticipating our evening tour of Arenal. It was a surprisingly warm and sunny day, especially since the day before had been filled with torrential rain. After grabbing a late breakfast in a tropical garden with views of the volcano and browsing through some shops, we wandered into a beautiful Spanish-style church, where we gave our appreciation for all of life's gifts to the spirits above.
