We had a chance this evening to catch up with a family friend, Catherine Yates and her son Jack. We finished off our evening in an Indian resturant they recommended in Little India. There are street decorations up in preparation for Davahli, it was pretty impressive. Last night in Singapore was definitely a success!

... about the place - clean, safe and no unemployment. An Indian waiter at the hotel thought it was too expensive and hard to live in. He only saw his wife twice a year and he liked the changing seasons back home.
Glad we took a three day break, even if we tried to do a bit too much. Aidan and Rosa loved it so much they wanted to "stay five or seven days". I suspect the hotel and pool had a fair bit to do with it.
... let Kenz tell you about that. Fortunately on this tour we had a nice guide called Edna who was pretty funny and entertaining. By now it was 9pm and we had not eaten so got off the bus in ChinaTown at the night markets. Who knew that they closed up at 9pm? So we came back and had room service before falling into bed exhausted. It was a very good day.
