Our VERY short stay in Mumbai
We had a VERY long cab ride from the Mumbai airport through the city. Our cab driver thought we were going to a fancy hotel called Taj Hotel. When, in reality, we were going to a cheap hotel called Pals Hotel....which was VERY far away from the Taj. So, we got to our hotel at about 2 am in the morning...ugh...part of travel!!! Remember, this is fun!!

Amazing Muggy Mumbai
... traveled along a small road with many people begging. The fort is located in Vasai, Maharashtra. With its high arches and spectacular architecture, the Bassein Fort is a gorgeous destination for any avid holiday-er. Built in the 1400s by the Portugese mariners, the fort is often used as a setting in many Bollywood movies. After the taxi home we ordered dinner and went to bed.
