Brilliant !!

We stayed at the Homewood Suites after arriving in Orlando without a booking. We found the hotel after visiting the information centre and picking up their discount Hotel coupons. Fabulous rate and very friendly staff. Suite with kitchen and living area was superb, well maintained, very clean. Breakfast and evening reception was an unexpected bonus, and was plentiful. Perfect place for both familes and couples. I would reccommed this hotel to all. Forget the shuttle bus to Disneyworld though too restrictive , get yourself a hire car and have fun!

Great Place to Stay

My family of four had a great experience staying at the hotel for seven days in June, 2004. The two room suite was perfect for two adults and two teenaged boys. The adults had their own t.v. in one room and the boys had their own t.v. in another. The rooms were clean and neat and the hotel responded very quickly when the toilet backed up one evening. The complimentary breakfast was extensive, which helped us tremendously with our food expenses. We also saved by cooking a couple of meals in the well appointed kitchenette. The room rate was reaonable and I will stay at this hotel if I visit Orlando again.

We loved this hotel. nice, clean rooms. Pool was clean & quiet. Staff was friendly. Great location close to Disney. Had morning and evening food bar.

The food bar lady didnt speak any english, so it was hard to comunicate with her.

Would stay here again.

Loved the Homewood Suites on Palm Parkway

I have just returned from Orlando and stayed at a wonderful hotel called Homewood Suites in Lake Buena Vista. on Palm Parkway. For the price of a room, $69.95, you received full hot brakfast, and Monday through Thursday from 5-7 they served free beer, wine, soft drinks and munchies. This included salad, soup, nachos and cheese, salsa and each night has a different theme. If it was oriental night they also added egg rolls etc... The rooms were fantastic, very clean, good maid service and plenty of space with a separate bedroom and living room with a sofa bed. It had a full kitchen with all the fixtures and supplies you need if you were so inclined to cook, even microwave popcorn to make. I don't know anywhere that gives you so much for such a good price! I will definitely stay there again. I had to let others know that this hotel was not "horrible" as described in another review, Not even close!

Horrible Accomedations

My family and I decided to stay at Homewood Suites after receiving a great deal. After our arrival though we were extremely disappointed in the condition of the rooms. They are in terrible need of a renovation.

Supposedly they are next in line for one. If you don't mind staying in a room where the bedding is ripped, the wall paper is falling down and there is mold in the bathroom then it is for you.

The Pefect Base

We booked direct and early and got a smashing rate. This Hotel is fantastic for a Disney and Orlando vacation. The shuttle service is not so good (what Hotel's is?), so I'd recommend a rental car which are really cheap in Orlando. The rooms are large, clean and the kitchenette enables you to cook but eating out in the USA is cheap in any event (again, why a rental car is a must). The breakfasts are self-service and included in the rate. It is not 'up there with the best' but is warm with a wide range and comes in endless quantities - I for one could not complain about them. Although I didn't make the manager's event, I'd imagine they would be the same. Heavily recommended.

A real find!

We spent a week in this hotel, which is only a few minutes from Walt Disney World and International Drive. The two room suite was spacious including a bedroom with two queen sized beds, and a living room with its own TV, a pullout sofa, and a complete kitchen. Everything was clean and tidy, and everything worked. The staff was polite and helpful (we had trouble with one TV; a maintenance man arrived within minutes of our call and took care of the problem). The hot breakfast buffet was varied and ample; the evening reception was OK (beer, wine, a couple of nibbles). For under $70 (in early January), this was a real bargain.

Really enjoyed our stay

Quiet location, convenient to restaurants, shopping, and a quick drive to all Disney parks. The room was very comfortable for three (one child) and the complimentary breakfast buffet and daily newspaper is a time and money saver. The downside, pool is not heated....

Great suites

Spent a few nights at this Homewood Suites, excellent location close to Downtown Disney. The breakfast was good which is complimentary. The staff very nice great rates. We hope to be back again soon.

A bit orverpriced but OK

We stayed in a Homewood Suites in Boston & we were quite impressed. So we booked in Orlando. The suite was fine but nothing to shout about. A little overpriced but was acceptable.
