... leave things they no longer want for others (like us) to choose from. It was a bit chilly so Matt and Anita found some acceptable items of clothing to keep themselves warm. Something else that is free in Telluride is the gondola. The total trip from Telluride over to Mountain Village is 13 minutes. ... it was getting dark and starting to rain, so we decided that we should drive back to Ouray. We turned around and drove the same road back. All too soon we were back on paved roads again. We came to an overlook of the town of Ouray. It was dark then, and all of the lights were on in Ouray. It was a neat view. Then we drove back to our hotel/cabin, ready to go out again the next day!

... began to start climbing and took a rest next to a beautiful stream for our first water break. After that was when the real upward path began... I was starting to feel a little shaky and Dia suggested we take a lunch break since it had been awhile since breakfast. We sat on some big boulders at the side of the trail and had some lunch looking over a gorgeous view of the valley and Trout Lake below us. It was absolutely magnificent.
