The Circus Basseterre, St. Kitts, Saint Kitts and Nevis, 869-465-0800
... so festive and all the stores have a Caribbean flair, i really like it, looks so newer to me. There are different contrast of paint color in each store which made them so pretty and i saw some Kittitian dancers performing in the port's street with their costume and mask on. Again we got our Scenic St. Kitts tour from locals of Basseterre, not from the ship, and just charge us $20 per person. We are only 6 people in the tour van, our tour guide is Leroy a native of ...
Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis ri-anne.cruz... tour of the island for the afternoon. This was a good way to see the sights and chat with a local who could explain the history and current happenings on the island. We drove through lots of small villages and up to an historic fort where Lord Horatio Nelson held of a French invasion. (It seems that just about all these islands have been fought over by the French and British, they now seem to alternate as you cruise ...
Ballast Bay, Saint Kitts and Nevis bellavitaThe Barrett-O'Keefe's bucked tradition and went to Nevis instead of Hawaii. Overall I would say it was a good decision. The flight was shorter and the time change was minimal. The best part was staying in a beautiful house with our own pool. With the downturn in ...

Basseterre, St. Kitts, Saint Kitts and Nevis bognaSo, having been able to not remember a thing about Pennsylvania (at least nothing well enough to write about), and getting back to matt's place for a rest day, I headed off on the genuine trip.... all by myself :-o!! First stop, St. Kitts in the West Indies for the last 2 one dayers of the Australia/West Indies series. Unfortunately, Australia had already wrapped up the series 3-0, so both games ...
Basseterre, St. Kitts, Saint Kitts and Nevis sknuckeyWe had a great day on our 9th anniversary! We went on all day Catamaran trip with the entire TI crew. We 1st stopped off at coral reef where we wnet snorkling and saw many tropical fish, turtles and lots of colorful coral. We then stopped off at the Coco Beach Club on the island of Nevis and had lunch, rum punch and enjoyed time on wave runners. On the way back to St Kitts Island, it's customary to dance around the boat for good luck so we danced to raggae music around the ...
Nevis, Nevis, Saint Kitts and Nevis mmcguffin... Carribean side. We had diiner with entire TI team on beach with chicken, roasted beef, grouper and pork buffett. Frigate Bay, St. Kitts, Saint Kitts and Nevis mmcguffin... to the show...world famous singing sensation....someone we had never heard of. We decided to sit in the back so we could make an easy exit if the show was really bad. And, we were all wondering when we heard the first few notes he sang - it sounded like we were in for some opera or other "classical" singing. We were pleasantly surprised. The singer had a good voice, he mixed singing with funny banter and we really enjoyed the performance.
Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis fair... for me.... Though after last night's unpleasant dining experience, I still decided to return to the main dining room for dinner. It occurrd to me that my friend, Paolo, who just returned from another cruise last month, said he only went to the main dining room for sit-down service once in the whole week and spent all other meals at the cafeteria. Because he was afraid to eat by himself (even though he also chose to go to a ...
Basseterre, Saint Kitts and Nevis whk2006... the central factory (owners resisted as the prices offered for their land were dramatically lower than they wanted [rather ironic considering the history of the use of slavery in the industry!!!]). With the topography of St Kitts though, 80% of the cane still had to be cut by hand and so labout costs were higher than any other sugar producing nation and so on the 16th December 2004, the government announced that it would exit from sugar production on the 30th July 2005.
