... this challenging at times, and I hope we are a little better now after a month of practice.

There was much nature that we saw - turtles in almost every anchorage, a few dolphins along the way; dawn in Kapi Creek with the sounds of roosters crowing, dogs barking, bird calls, donkeys braying, and goats bleating. We also saw quite a few fish whilst snorkelling. As for the man-made sights, I'll just write about a few of the highlights, ...

... and enjoyed sampling the various dishes accompanied by the most succulent rice and noodle mix. I am dying to buy some of the noodles – they look like pine nuts – a try for myself. The lamb in the clay pot was rather like an exceptionally tender and tasty “potjie” complete with vegies. Serifeceremonially poured it out of the pot and gave it a final ...

... you got it... it's time for our last lunch for this holiday. Aydin comes up trumps with his table choice for us, right at the front of the terrace overlooking the whole of the bay with Marmaris shimmering on the horizon... Why haven't we sat here earlier in the holiday? Never mind, we're here now and we'll make the most of it, enjoying our longest lunch time yet. We wanted to savour the stunning view, the lovely food, and of course each other's company ...
