We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...

The square where we were sitting was in the old town, surrounded by ...

To make the chicken, Captain sautéed onions, peppers and garlic in olive oil, ...

... minutes before we started timing it. We tried hitching a ride, but no luck. Len tried at a store to change the 50 Euros bill, no luck, I tried at another store, no luck. We found the bus stop and waited with a couple and their son. They didn't have any change either. More people came to wait for the bus, an older woman came to us and showed us the bus ticket price, we shook our heads yes we knew the price, she motioned towards the ticket and we shook our ...
