      ... We then watched the big saltwater crocs get fed. They were a bit quiet, as it was a hot day and that makes them a bit slower. Also they are nocturnal so they don't move around much during the day. But they moved enough to impress us !!! We then had a small taste plate of crocodile meat. It tastes a lot like chicken!! We then went for a walk around the whole park itself. We found, wallabies, koalas, cassowaries, more crocs, emus, quoll, and ...

      ... from the farmer (Mmmm delicious) we went to the history museum at Mareeba and learnt about the dairy farming and the war camps that were in the local area, we also learnt about the tobacco farms that were big in the area.

      After lunch we made it into Cairns and found our caravan park, it has two pools and a water park, so Seth and I are happy.

      Nan, Warren, Uncle Rod and Lerma came to visit, it was good to see them all.

      Gordon, Marguerite and Donny went to Herberton to the Historic Village for 5 hours!!! Very well preserved and maintained. I started the day with some emails, hung out the washing, then went to Atherton shops. Wandered around for a while and visited the Information Office. Went to the Post Office. Bought a few groceries. Visited Crystal Cave and browsed in gift shops. Went home, brought in the washing. Left for a drive with a run planned at the destination. First stop ...
