I got into the Pantheon for free as a student and saw many cool things. The dome was being worked on so I couldn't see that but I think their cover-up was kinda cool.

I wandered some more and made my way to a Chinese New Year's Parade and then the Botanical Garden for some relaxation.

I still had 2.5 hours to kill before my bus left so I decided I'd go wander the area near the station and I found the Opera, ...

From my hand she took a 2 Euro coin, then said "don't worry about the 10 cents". Surely that will throw her till out. I got back to the hostel, microwaved my dinner and made a cup of tea. Unfortunately what I thought had been sugar turned out to be salt - so that ruined the cup of tea - but otherwise dinner was quite nice. Though I must say I'm looking forward ...

Versailles and the Eiffel Tower

... very long lines to get into the palace itself`. I thought it would be better if I tour the gigantic gardens first, see Marie Antoinette's house and then finish up at the palace. The gardens are impressive. There are many mazes, fountains and nooks and crannies that I imagine all the royalty and their guests getting lost in. I walked all the way down to the grand canal and knew it was going to be a long walk to the next place ...
