... by tourists as it has no direct train connection from Roissypole and is only reachable by bus from CDG. It has a magnificent cathedral, with the largest collection of in situ medieval stain glass windows in France. Really lovely. And quite unusual in such a small village. And it has a museum dedicated to hunting, which we didn't manage to visit unfortunately. We were lucky it was market day in Senlis, which meant the girls were able to ...

I thought I had published this entry, but it seems to be blank! None of us slept a wink on the flight, so we were all very tired when we arrived around 8am local time. This is a wonderful 3 ...

... out to be a bit over two hours. All of us had passed out on the train and had to be woken up upon arrival. I wish I could have seen us stumble off that train and walk through the station in Paris that morning. It was probably eerily similar to the movie The Hangover as we slowly walked though the incredibly chic business people of Paris. He who shall not be named was still wearing his crusty cape of towels, we were still wearing layers of mismatched clothing, and to be quite frank, ...

... for a meal (lots of places still open) so we made do with the last of the Belgian chocolate and 2 stroopwafels - don't check the nutritional value of those! Our room is great and a decent size. We can see the Eiffel Tower and the Notredame. Today there has been "beware of pickpockets" signage at all the places we've been to and walking to catch the bus we had a woman try her luck in deceiving us that we had dropped something - which we ignored. I've concluded that ...
