... from Lille and because he did was served 2008 Pichon, my favourite Bordeaux! We didn't choose the orange cheese but got a glass anyway!! Pre dessert was a little bowl of coffee ice cream on a crispy meringue with other things, getting s bit blurry by this stage! And a second plate with a tiny tart, two thin wafers with some sort of curd and a feather light soft meringue. Phew, starting to fill up but onwards we go. Heights and the Louvre

After the Eiffel tower we headed to the Louvre for a brief tour. You could probably spend several days in there but we just wanted to see it.

We hit a few big spots we missed on the previous days since this was our last full day in Paris, and headed back to the Champs-Elysees for dinner.

Tomorrow, we head out on the overnight train from Gare de Lyon to Venice.

... space we were there we saw a gentle nose to tail and more close calls than all of the James Bond movies put together. We decided to walk one of the side streets off the Arc de Triumph down towards the Effiel Tower. This would put us out at the national Theatre looking directly at it across the river.
