As we were flying into Phuket it looked really nice with all of the rocks coming randomly out of the sea. Looked really bizarre. The landing was quite good consdiering the flight wasn't the best!

On one side streets, there seemed to be bar after bar after bar after bar. Plus, hawkers ready to drag you off the street at a moment's notice to patronize their establishment for diner.

Eventaully, we came across an outdoor foor court and loaded up on PadThai and other goodies.

... our Christmas Eve participating in the Flame Tree's beach BBQ that consisted of all you can eat salad, chicken skewers and corn on the cob. We sat on a little bamboo beach mat eating our meal and watching people launch paper lanterns into the sky.

We killed our dinner pretty quickly then craved a quiet night in our room watching a movie. Our hotel offered free rentals and they happened to have Taken 2 which we had to choose since we both watched Taken ...

... on my own as I weaved in and out seeing the school and their houses (with tv and stairs even!) on silts! This floating village is quite established. The school were filled with kids playing around, very interesting with an open soccer field even facing the sea. Like our floating platform haha.
I like wandering and getting lost around, then bargaining and buying some clothes but it was definitely not funny when I couldn't find my way back! With villages help, "in front", "turn left, ...

The day started out not so good for some of the people, because the Indian spices went right through them. After some breakfast, it's time to rock climb! I of course unknowingly decide to do the second **********e there (it was considered a 6A, whatever that means).
