... bunk so we end up with two bunks 1 above the other. Guys start working through the train selling beers and other drinks. We buy beers, lots of beers and 1 guy gives us a bucket with ice providing we buy the beers off him. After hours of wondering what time we would arrive at Surat Thani, we finally got to the pier at 9am. I end up cycling off the pier, along lovely beaches and come to a Military type base where I had to sign in for some reason and I was surprised to find a Military runway which I had stop to take a wee picture of the bike slap bang in the middle of – I doubt that’ll ever happen again, but I didn't find where I was meant to sign out?

... us that our night ferry had been cancelled and we were being put up in a hotel and taken in the morning to the docks. Luckily the hotel was one of the nicest so far. After a quick check on the hotel map we established we were in the right place. A dream! We were honestly starving by this point at midnight.
