... really poor living conditions and quite alot of beggars on the streets, many with disabilities, missing limbs etc as a result of the wars. Although we do have poverty and homeless etc in Aus it's not as visible and not the large amount as you see in Sri Lanka, it really makes you appreciate ( and even have pangs of guilt at times ) of what I have at home.

... bad but I was nodding like **** due to the Valium and nearly smashed my head on the metal on the back of the seats more times than I care to remember. I also fell asleep on the chest of the bloke next to me, much to Lizas chagrin, but considering that's happened four times the other way around I wasn't too embarrassed myself about this. Plus he got his own back by doing the same when I forced myself awake. Swings and roundabouts. Or something.

... the man a gift such as land, car, house etc... I'm glad we don't have to do that as Steve wouldn't get much :)! He built his house and resort himself and was building it up gradually. It was really well done and fitted in with the jungle setting.
