    ... beer. At 8.30 into the minibus to see a cabaret at a theatre downtown, 'Tiffany's'. It lasted for an hour and a half until 10.30. Pretty girls, who, after a bit of concentration, the innocent amongst us realised they were the well known Thai 'ladyboys'. A bright, noisy, colourful and different show, mimed to music.     Didn't sleep well at all: overtired and noise through a connecting door from the room next door. Plus I set my watch alarm for three thirty instead of four thirty. So Amanda was up and putting on the kettle before I realised. Oops. She had about an hour's proper sleep. The phone rang at four thirty and we were on the minibus at five.
