... quickly and didn’t give the birds a chance to gather around us. We did see a few endangered Gopher Tortoises though and they were really cool looking. They were all eating along the path but of course shot their heads into their shells when they heard us approaching. I really enjoy turtles and tortoises, they are freaking adorable. Dear reader.............it's another long one!

Today will be my 3rd day at the Kennedy Visitor Complex, like I said I am being thorough! This will be a little different as I am going on the tour called Then & Now, and in addition to sites at the currently active Kennedy Launch Complex, we will also be visiting the Cape Canaveral Air Force base. ... huge golf course just behind the marina. First Mate used the bike every day and the Captain joined her at the pool each evening. So refreshing. We had only intended on staying three nights in Vero but the wind and weather dictated differently. Port st Lucie - Palm Bay I slept till 9 a.m the next day. I really needed a good rest becausd i was so exhausted.
