... long story summed up, we tried to walk around for about an hour until Google Maps directed us to walk along a four lane highway. Stuff that, so we got a cab. I suppose the last two paragraphs have just been a little whinge and sook about Los Angeles – I’ll try to get a bit cheerier. All I’m saying, is that most American cities are simply not built for anybody who doesn’t have a car.

The BEST Time EVER!!

... and Beluga Whale show which was EPIC! Then, a couple hours later, right before closing time, we all went to the Orca (Killer Whale) show, which is a MUST if you're ever in San Antonio, Texas! I was VERY IMPRESSED by the amazing tricks the killer whales would do in response to a SIMPLE arm motion by the trainers!!! Even sitting OUTSIDE the "SOAK ZONE" I still got wet, sitting in the third from back row of bleachers. After the orca show, ...

... the rain got heavier. This town is on the bucket list for next time.
Rained all day and we mostly stayed on back roads instead of the interstate for the first half. Once we realized that the rain was not going to let up we hopped on the interstate and headed south towards Dallas.

Very uneventful drive today, besides a deluge of rain as we entered Oklahoma. In about 2 minutes the temp dropped from 66 to 51 and the rain came down in buckets. One event that could be considered as almost catastrophic. Almost ...

... between two mountain ranges: the Boston Mountains, and the Ouachita Mountains. We drove by Carrie Underwood's home town, a small town not too far from the Arkansas border.

Just before we stopped for the day, we drove into Henryetta to buy a few groceries at WalMart. We drove the length of Main Street, about one mile long. The street was lined with dilapidated store fronts. If this is typical then small town Oklahoma is in trouble.
