When we asked the server what a biscuit was she very sharply responded 'you don't know what a biscuit is? A biscuit is a biscuit....' Hopefully we'll get to try one in the next town. On our way from Oklahoma City to the Dallas area, we decided to stop at the Oklahoma towns of Seminole and Wewoka due to Clare's [FSU] Seminole roots. We made a quick stop at The Seminole Nation Casino in the town of Seminole. Then we proceeded a few miles away to visit the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma Museum. ... venues I was going to see has changed his date. I changed my dates for Scotland and England because of that. Anyway, though many things have changed, many things will remain the same. Libraries and universities don't move (thank goodness!). Also, many things I'll be doing are now going to be "better" because I've had more time to search.

... The chariot received it's first stone chip on the front. Tomorrow we head to Groom, Tx and the sculptures of the crucifixion and then to Amarillo, TX and the Palo Duro Canyon state park. Probably have at least a few pics tomorrow.

... between two mountain ranges: the Boston Mountains, and the Ouachita Mountains. We drove by Carrie Underwood's home town, a small town not too far from the Arkansas border.

Just before we stopped for the day, we drove into Henryetta to buy a few groceries at WalMart. We drove the length of Main Street, about one mile long. The street was lined with dilapidated store fronts. If this is typical then small town Oklahoma is in trouble.
