... We are really getting over expensive and sometimes not so good restaurant meals now, and at times really crave simple home cooked meals.
I had one of my mini meltdowns tonight, and had a good cry as the pangs of homesicknessness well and truly set in. Uggghhhh felt awful as vivid images of my loved ones, dog, home and country came flashing into my mind, resulting in feelings that almost made me feel physically sick. Been very busy last couple of days - just had time to catch up and I am a few days behind. We drove up to the local car ferry in Trezzamo The ferry was quick, we drove on and sat on the top deck for 10 minutes. When we arrived in Bellagio we had a lovely relaxing look round and a little shopping trip. We sat in the Hotel Du Lac ...

... stay another day and go up a cablecar on a nearby mountain, but on reading damning reviews of the state of it plus the exorbitant amount they charged, we decided to forego it.

Our next destination was to be Austria, somewhere near Salzburg, and adding together the influx of people onto the site plus the very busy roads around, we decided to leave the next day in search of peace & ...
