Como

... night we had a few drinks at a small little bar and watched the Roma-Bologna, then went back to the terrace for some wine which was nice. I fell in love with Como because of it's location and beautiful nature that surrounded it, so I am going to rank it #2 on the list of cities I saw on this trip. The next morning (Sunday) we took a bus to Vals. Read my next post to hear about my time at Peter Zumthor's Thermal baths!

... kids in the car.

On the way back through, we stopped in Lugano to pick up the kids' hats and mittens, which I had left to dry on the radiator in the hotel room and forgotten to pick up. One had over 50 statues and pantings of more people on the walls. So it must have been a big gathering. Then we went down to the ...

Skiing on a sun snowy day

... more powdery? I found that out the hard way when I fell and the snow crumpled underneath me. There were not many people at the ski field as it was not a holiday. The skilifts were not working but in the afternoon the travelater started working. I was glad because I didn't have to walk up the hill sideways all the time. One of the funniest bits was when I found out that most of the others had fallen over on the travelater and I hadn't. Mum was ...
