A travel blog entry by jaelithe.wedd on Jan 04, 2015

So thought I should write again-otherwise I will forget to use this thing and that would be a most disappointing read then. :) I got a new laptop for Christmas, a MacBook Air to be precise so I can blog while I am away-Yay!! How exciting. It's the first present ever where I have known what I am getting for Christmas and have still been excited! I also got a few travel journals so I can write when the fancy takes me and update my ...

... tree was in the splendid Queen Victoria Centre which had a Swarovski crystal tree the height of 4 stories of the building covered in crystals and lights. Unfortunately we missed the last ferry home and had a very slow and convoluted journey home principally because we did not know which bus to get. We'll be more clued up next ...

We are hoping they are not sitting near us on the plane - or better yet, they are not our plane! Through security again without a hitch and straight to ...

Sydney via the Gold Coast

... br> Bronte Beach, which in our opinion put its close neighbour, Bondi, to shame.

With a mixture of beaches and cities, from hippy Byron Bay to cosmopolitan Sydney, we had a fantastic time. However time was getting on and it was time to see what the final city of Australia had to offer; Melbourne was calling! With the Great Ocean Road and the world's smallest penguins to see, it was time to hop on an overnight bus and head out of Sydney!

Lots of love, J&A xx
