Tuesday We arrived in Calvi on the eastern coast of Corsica, at lunchtime after a train trip south of Bastia then across the island to the opposite coast. It is a magical place, similar to Amalfi or Sorrento on the Italian coast, situated on a large bay, with lovely white sandy beaches.
