... place we see! Haha.
The waiter arrives and takes our order. I order 12 slices of pizza thinking that they were small slices but instead huge pizza slices arrive and even though we first thought we would struggle to eat them we finished them off.
Tummies full we make our way to the platform where we want to catch the train to Stresa. Well what an ordeal that was! Michael had purchased regional train tickets which cost €8.50 ...

We are sitting at Milan airport and enjoying the cool change - only mid 30's today and reading the Melbourne papers that tell me we are landing at 530am on a day when the max is likely to be 5 or 6 degrees....imagine how cold it will be at 530am at the airport....heavy coat is ready

Day 24 Today we pick up our bikes, have our pre tour briefing and the introductory dinner. I wandered down to breakfast at 9am and found Bill and Joan in the dinning room. ... Another walk the next day saw us stumble upon the Isole e Olena vineyard who very kindly offered us a tour of the cellars and a free tasting of their famous Chianti Classico. On the way home we stopped by (yet another) gorgeous Tuscan village, Castello in Chianti. Bea did well to remember the place from her holiday ten years ago, she even managed to track down the villa where they all stayed. Our last day in Tuscany saw us back to Greve in Chianti, where we tasted plenty of wine ...

... to neighbouring Stresa, a much bigger and busier village than Belgirate, with the ubiquitous old town square. On another day we bought an all day ferry ticket and bounced back and forth across the lake, stopping at various places of interest to us.
