Before we know it, we are arriving... Weather is not looking good... I had brought my rain coat but mom and Evan were optimists and didn't bother to bring a sweater or jacket... It was chilly- Even Ev was chilled somewhat.. We were going to walk and make our way towards ...
... everywhere, a really gross bathroom and the service was super slow - nothing like back at home. The food was pretty comparable, but still quite different if that makes sense and it was a lot more expensive. After leaving there we made a bee-line back to the cafe we had visited that morning and sat there until we had to leave to catch our train.

Tick, tick, tick ...
... back at San Marco and the tour is over. There isn't too long a queue at the Campanile (bell tower) so I head up to get a bird's eye view of Venice. Although I can't see across the lagoon to the other islands (because of the fog) I get a great view of the rooftops of Venice. While I'm up the tower, the bell starts to ring: it's a pretty big bell and rings loudly! Off the find some dinner then it's back to tackle packing. Somehow I'm able to get everything packed, ready for tomorrow ...
