... I think it's KM's .... not miles) it was 16 KM's of the most spectacular coastline we have ever seen. As seems to be the recurring theme of this holiday ..... It has to be seen to be believed. Stopped in a little town along the way to visit the Emerald Grotto. We had to walk down a few steps then get in an elevator which went down about 100m's ( quite an engineering feat really as the elevator has been cut into solid rock ! ) and opened ...

I had zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta and fish followed by ravioli stuffed with fish and a seafood sauce. Both dishes were light and delicious. We snaked through an underground aquaduct from when the greeks were in power. A ...

Thankfully the mountain towering above our unit continued to stay put (I keep thinking that the bad earthquakes in this area are few and far between, and that great big rock has been hanging there a long time....). This morning we waited for the rain to stop, then headed into ...

today we did a day trip to the island of Capri. 10 passengers on a 25-30 ft inboard motor boat. sea views of other cliffside towns, including Maiori, Positano, Ravello, and many Saracen forts built to ward off pirates back when commerce was strong here. Furore Fjord, where cliff diving competitions are held. many houses of famous people - Bill Gates, Roger Moore, Sophia Loren, Gina Lollabrigida, Gore Vidal. went into Pandora's Grotto, Grotto di ...
