    ... scenery and beautiful villages. An amazing area of Italy.

    Internet services are not great on boat so am posting this sitting in a cafe in Cannes. Won't post another until get to St Paul de Vence on Sunday. Hope everyone is well.

    ... graves of religious men and women. There are roman statues, sarcophagi and big murals on the walls depicting stories from the old testament. There were 296 or 294 steps leading up to the top of the leaning tower (one staircase of the tower has two more steps than the other staircase). Because of the 3.99 degree lean, when climbing the stairs one side of the tower seemed slightly more difficult to climb than the other. The tower is 55m high ...

    ... As soon as started I almost started crying… the main singer's voice stood out amongst the rest. There was a brief intermission while they offered prosecco and then on the the final 2 acts. We all enjoyed the story of Carmen and there were many recognizable tunes that had you humming for hours afterward.

    We were exhausted at the end of this very adventurous day so we headed home to a comfortable bed and passed out almost immediately.

    ... was alot less people so had a nice swim before going to do some internet stuff to work out where we would go the next day. Decided to go back to Rome cos all the campsites were booked out and it wasnt very relaxing anyway.

    After another swim to cool down, went to bed but much to our disdain, the Kareoke bar started up, which consisted of the worst singing I have ever heard (mostly kids) broadcasted through the campsite til 1145pm ...
