He told us there was an alternate path that we could take but it was for a bit more experienced of hikers and the conditions might not be the greatest. We decided, hey, we came here to do a hike, so we're going to do a hike.
We set off and hoped for the best. The hike was mostly uphill the whole way, it was quite tiring, but so rewarding. The views ...

The hotel turns out to be very quaint, the staff extremely nice and helpful and the room is pretty nice. We have Wi-Fi and everything plus the charm of the antique furniture and Italian atmosphere. Really good day and, unlike Carl, I am looking forward to Florence.

After another swim to cool down, went to bed but much to our disdain, the Kareoke bar started up, which consisted of the worst singing I have ever heard (mostly kids) broadcasted through the campsite til 1145pm ...

... Pisa. There is no need to bring an umbrella on your vacation to Italy. Without exaggeration, every 50 feet is an Indian or African immigrant ready to sell you one for about $4. I almost bought one just so the next ones would quit asking. The walk from the train station to the Leaning Tower is about a mile through a nice part of town and across the Arno River. We knew there would be a long wait to go up in the Tower so we took ...
