On a day trip from Florence, ISA brought us to a little Tuscan town called San Gimignano. I suggest not trying to pronounce it unless you hear someone else (preferably Italian) say it first. It is a quaint little town that has amazing view of the outstanding Tuscan countryside. Apparently it is also home to the award winning gelato shop. Of course I had to test this out and see whether it was actually possible if it was that good, it was. ...
... was alot less people so had a nice swim before going to do some internet stuff to work out where we would go the next day. Decided to go back to Rome cos all the campsites were booked out and it wasnt very relaxing anyway.
After another swim to cool down, went to bed but much to our disdain, the Kareoke bar started up, which consisted of the worst singing I have ever heard (mostly kids) broadcasted through the campsite til 1145pm ...

... we took the train to Lucca. A few different people had told me that it was worth a trip because it's close to Pisa and still has the the original old city walls. It was really nice just to walk around and not run into a whole lot of people,it's a pretty quite town.
