    ... the ponds functioned as an alternate water supply, or were for recreation. But he said lots of people in this area have saunas (not as hot as in Scandinavia) and like to jump into cold water after a "schvitz" (my word, not his.)

    We saw a windmill farm, and were told that Lithuania gets about 20-percent of its energy from wind, and hopes to increase that amount in the coming years, since it relies on Russia for what it cannot produce ...

    AM - Well this has been a very quiet day for us all, except for Henris occasional yells.
