Party Time!

Spent another night on a parking lot near the city centre. When trying to find a decent place to park our van near all the sights, we got caught up in a lybyrinth of narrow streets, filled with cars (sometimes even in the middle of the crossings...). Well, Boštjan is a very good driver, but my nerves are not as good as I thought.

With the help of a security guard at a bank in one of the ...

I had a Mary Moment

... double 'R's, or the Spanish lisp could cause a crystal to resonate, releasing unimaginable quantities of energy? The collective smiles of Spanish senoritas must generate at least 1000x the solar energy that the sun releases. And could all that collective sweetness somehow be synthesized into vast amounts of plant food, allowing all of Earth's citizens to be properly fed? It is my hope that one day, my groundbreaking ideas will earn a Nobel prize ...

FRYING EGGS ON THE SIDEWALK IN Zaragoza, Spain

... silver coffin or tomb, but it isn’t stated whose it is.

At the end of the church there is the Virgin Mary chapel. It is like a church within a church. We enjoyed our time inside looking at the architect, the wooden doors and the paintings, just a few pictures to look at. It was nice and cool inside.

We take a hotel for the night as it is now 35+ degrees. We will have a look around again tomorrow.

Hot Night

Boring long day on the A23, highest col 1223m.

Looking for aire in Zaragoza when Brits James, Clare and Katie in their motorhome took us under their wing to the park they'd already stayed in. Our Travels so Far

... of places with snow on the mountains and all around us. After we got lost a few times and had to ask for directions 3times by local police men we finally found the main road again. Sat around the camp fire for awhile but not very warm even with all the layers on and not worth buying a blanket as will defiantly not need it in a weeks time with the warmer conditions its just because we are so far up. So headed to bed for an early night. Lucky we have got really good sleeping bags ...

It all begins here in Mañaland

... home a fat wage, in a well respected job and still in contact with, i suppose, everyone else from science club or whatever (cant really see the rest of the "incrowd" thinking about the good old days that thay shagged some tart on field or nicked some glue to sniff from the corner shop as they put frozen food in box) but as i always say i this is only my experience and opion... Onward we go

We said goodbye to our wonderful host Sylvia in Guadalahara. The morning light and warmth felt like late May back home. We took to the A2/E90 heading NE towards Zaragoza. One hour later we turned off the highway to visit an old Roman fort on the top of a mountain with a spectacular view, Mendinacellini. Structures ...

An evening in Aragon

... of oppression and violence). Having had my fill of Medieval religious intolerance for the evening I set off down the street, grabbing a quick meal on the way to the Bullcade Irish pub- described by Rough Guides as the best Irish pub in the city. It was, in a word, ****. I just really couldn't be ***** to drink there, and I have drank in some real **** holes (Trends in Skopje, The Bishops arms in Stockholm, the Earl Grey on ...

Barcelona - Zaragoza

Today we all headed off at different times planning to meet at Montserrat a old monastery on and amazing mountain just out of Barcelona (it was amazing but heavily overshadowed by the following occurrences). Half the group got there early and left for Andorra before we arrived because Cy and Ants got us horribly lost trying to find a supermarket then they had a slight barney (we have all had many of these navigating our way around cities ...

... about whatever you like! You can go for a walk, lie in the sun, play a game, as long as you are talking. Then at 2pm is lunch, then free time until 5pm. Some people go for a siesta, but many just end up sitting on the lawn and chatting. 5-6 is a group activity, then 6-8 are 2 more one-on-ones. 8-9 is improv presentations, over the course of the week each group has to present a 20 minute skit. Then 9pm is dinner, if all the anglos haven´t dropped dead of ...
