... The weather was fantastic today. The air was crisp and not too cold and as we walked along the track. Sometimes in the open air and sometimes in the forest we couldn’t help but be in awe of the landscape we were in. All the while the big three mountains in this area of the alps, the Jungfrau, Mönch and the Eiger stared down at us with their snow-capped gaze. The views (and the walking for some) was breathtaking.

12:35, 5-16 I have many random thoughts today. I am staying two nights in Bern, as it is quite a lovely city. I got a preview last night of the city with no charged iPod camera to bring. I am going out this afternoon to take pictures and buy a few neat trinkets. I saw a wild bird swinging a golfclub, all made out of stone and wiring. That kind of raw material art interests me.
